After a hard hitting, back-and-forth battle against three other wrestlers, Jordan Devlin is the new NXT Cruiserweight champion.
Devlin defeated Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Travis Banks and now the former champion Angel Garza at Worlds Collide to win the belt. Devlin pinned Scott, becoming the first active member of the NXT UK brand become the NXT Cruiserweight Champion.
It has been a busy past couple of days for both Devlin and the title. Devlin very recently had emergency dental surgery on his front tooth and before Worlds Collide went on the air, Triple H and William Regal introduced a new design for the NXT Cruiserweight title.
The loss ended Garza's reign at just 45 days, which began in December when Garza defeated Lio Rush on NXT. Garza's reign as NXT Cruiserweight Champion was the shortest since Kalisto briefly held the belt for less than two weeks back in October 2017.
