Josh Hokit, who competes on this weekend’s White House UFC card, talks a potential switch to WWE in the future.

Moving from the world of mixed martial arts to the world of professional wrestling is not a new idea to say the least, as names such as Ronda Rousey, Ken Shamrock, Marina Shafir and more have made the jump between the sports in the past. Now, a UFC heavyweight has spoken about potentially making the switch.

While speaking to Helen Yee Sports in a new interview, the UFC’s Josh Hokit was asked about a potential move to WWE in the future.

“I mean, I say no as of right now, but if they’re willing to pay, fuck it. Yeah, sure. If they’re willing to pay, let’s do it.”

Hokit was then asked about his fandom, sharing that he was when he was younger.

“Man, when I was young. When I was young, yeah, I followed it a little bit. Then my dad told me it was fake and I was like, wow.”

Hokit also shared that he got into arguments at school about pro wrestling being fake or not.

“Yeah, no, I used to have arguments at school about if it was fake or not, and so, because it’s like, as a wrestler, we know like wrestling, amateur wrestling is real. But then it’s like you watch this wrestling on TV, which is fake, that would always bother me at least. So I stayed away from it.”

As mentioned, Hokit is set to fight on the UFC’s White House card later today. You can read more about that here.
