Julissa (Yulisa Leon) Says She's Currently With KAOZ Lucha Libre

The former Yulisa Leon says she is currently affiliated with KAOZ Lucha Libre.

Yulisa Leon, now going by Julissa, was one of many names released by WWE on September 21. She had openly stated at the time that she had requested her release. In the time since her release, she captured CRASH Lucha Libre's Femenil Championship.

In a new interview with TJ Sports, she also confirmed that she is affiliated with KAOZ Lucha Libre, a promotion that is closely associated with CRASH.

“I belong to KAOZ and we will surprise a lot of people. We have a lot of plans & surprises set and we will go forward from there,” said Julissa.

Julissa captured the Femenil Title on November 3, ending Dulce Tormenta's 182-day run as champion.

Julissa participated in WWE tryouts in 2019 and was reported as joining the company in February 2021. She made her television debut on WWE 205 Live on October 22, 2021. She and Valentina were briefly paired with Sanga in NXT before he turned heel to rejoin Veer and Jinder Mahal.

She made her main roster debut on WWE SmackDown on May 19, 2023, teaming with Valentina Feroz in a defeat to Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn. The bout was a one-time occurrence, as shortly after she returned to NXT.
