Karrion Kross Says He Was Originally Told He’d Be At WWE Raw After SummerSlam, ‘There Was A Creative Idea In The Air’

Karrion Kross says they were briefly planned for him to appear on the WWE Monday Night Raw episode following WWE SummerSlam 2025.

Karrion Kross and his wife, Scarlett, departed WWE for a second time following WWE SummerSlam 2025. Their contracts officially expired on August 10. Ultimately, their last appearance would be Kross’ losing effort to Sami Zayn at SummerSlam.

However, Karrion Kross is now saying that there was a tentative idea for him to appear on the Monday Night Raw following what would be his final PLE. He says a creative idea was being discussed at the time. Ultimately, nothing came of these plans, and Kross and Scarlett were instead flown home.

“I was told we were going to Raw. There was a creative idea in the air. Sunday, we get a message saying we’re going to be flown home and we’re not going to be at Raw. That didn’t feel very good,” he told Ariel Helwani.

When asked if he was given a reason the plants fell through, he simply said, “No.”
