Katarina Waters explains how she got involved with Women Of Wrestling.
Former two-time TNA Knockouts Champion Katarina Waters has been in the professional wrestling business for eighteen years and has been a part of WWE, IMPACT Wrestling, OVW, Queen Of Chaos and she is featured in the on-going season of Women Of Wrestling which airs on AXS TV. Katarina plays the character "The Temptress" on WOW and she was in action during last week's show against IMPACT Wrestling's Kiera Hogan. While being interviewed by UPROXX, Katarina explained how she got involved with Women Of Wrestling:
"Well, I had heard about WOW of course, and I saw advertised that they were looking for Superheroes or wrestlers or athletes, and I thought, 'I can do that, and I thought it was a really great concept, and once I got involved and I could see how great production values are and, you know, how much David McLane is really pushing for these women to be really badass, strong, empowered women. You know, it?s not like a popcorn match? He wants us to be strong and empowered women, so that was really great." She explained.
Katarina was asked if she could face anyone in the business right now, who would it be and she name-dropped former two-time World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler.
"I?m going to say Dolph Ziggler." She continued, "Because he?s unbelievable."
