Kay Lee Ray is breaking records this weekend.
Once the clock struck midnight to start April 19, Ray’s reign as the NXT UK Women’s Champion officially reached 252 days, becoming the new record holder for the longest reign as champion. The previous record holder was Toni Storm. Ray acknowledged her new record on social media earlier in the day.

Ray first won the title when she defeated Storm at NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff back in August 2019. Since then, Ray has defended her title on a number of occasions, including multiple matches involving Storm.
The champion also appeared on NXT television a handful of times in recent months and even wrestled on the Worlds Collide event this past January, beating Mia Yim in a non-title match.
