International Title Match, Keith Lee vs. Chris Jericho, More Announced For 4/12 AEW Dynamite

Two major matches have been announced for the April 12 episode of AEW Dynamite.

As confirmed during the April 7 episode of AEW Rampage, Keith Lee will face former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho in a first-time-ever singles match. Lee confronted Jericho while "The Ocho" took issue with Adam Cole during an interview on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Plus, Darby Allin and Swerve Strickland will renew their rivalry, which dates back to their pre-AEW days, when they clash in a singles match. Strickland revealed that Mogul Affiliates had merged with The Embassy (Brian Cage, Toa Liona, Kaun, and Prince Nana) after Cage laid out Allin with a brutal attack. Allin previously defeated Strickland on the April 29, 2022 episode of AEW Rampage.

During AEW Battle of the Belts VI, the broadcast team announced that Orange Cassidy would put the AEW International Championship on the line on AEW Dynamite after he defeated Dralistico to retain the gold. Buddy Matthews of the House of Black challenged Cassidy to a match after the he, Malakai Black, and Brody King defeated Cassidy, Trent Beretta, and Chuck Taylor to retain the AEW World Trios Championship on AEW Dynamite.

Elsewhere on the show, Brandon Cutler and Michael Nakazawa will take a stand for The Elite (Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) when they face Jon Moxley and Claudio Castagnoli of the Blackpool Combat Club. The BCC has repeatedly attacked The Elite in recent weeks, and they even sent The Young Bucks to a hospital. In an interview during AEW Battle of the Belts VI, Cutler stated that, when faced with bullies like the BCC, it's time to stand up and be elite.
