AEW:

WWE SmackDown To Return To USA Network On September 13

~ Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson helped Kenny Omega and KENTA defeat Jon Moxley and Lance Archer in the main event of AEW Dynamite. The back-and-forth brawl included barbed-wire bats, bumps through heart-shaped beds, and a kitchen segment that saw Kenny Omega hit with a potato (full video above).

~ The AEW Women's World Title Eliminator Tournament will see the first round of the Japan bracket contested this Monday at 7/6c via the promotion's official YouTube channel.

~ Riho returns to action next week when she faces NWA Women's World Champion Serena Deeb in the first round of the AEW Women's Championship Eliminator Tournament.

~ Jungle Boy spoke with Tony Schiavone about his match with FTR's Dax Harwood, saying that not only did he emerge victoriously, but he came out of it a different man.

~ Thunder Rosa defeated Leyla Hirsch to advance to the second round of the AEW Women's Championship Eliminator Tournament.

~ Alex Marvez caught up with Kenny Omega on the golf course ahead of his main event match on Dynamite.

~ Team Taz didn't interfere in Darby Allin's (successful) title defence versus Joey Janela. No, they opted to attack him later in the night, stuffing him in a body bag and drag him from the back of their car.

~ Matt Hardy's business practices continue to be wildly unethical.

~ After Chris Jericho and MJF defeated The Acclaimed, Sammy Guevara came to the ring and quit The Inner Circle.

~ PAC made quick work of Ryan Nemeth on AEW Dynamite.

~ The Young Bucks will defend their AEW Tag Team titles next week versus Santana and Ortiz.

~ Lee Johnson and Cody Rhodes defeated Cezar Bononi and Peter Avalon.

NXT:

~ Xia Li defeated Cora Jade via pinfall.

After the match, Kayden Carter goes to the stage and tries to talk to Tian Sha, but is taken out by Xia. Xia and BOA try to talk to Tian Sha, but she ends up choking BOA while Xia takes out Kacy Catanzaro at ringside.

~ Grizzled Young Veterans will face MSK in the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day!

~ Shotzi Blackheart and Emer Moon will face Dakota Kai and Raquel Gonzalez in the finals of the Women's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. In addition to the trophy, the winners will earn a WWE Women's Tag Team Championship opportunity.

~ Johnny Gargano versus KUSHIDA at TakeOver: Vengeance Day is on!

~ Cameron Grimes made it rain on this week's episode of NXT.

~ Santos Escobar has his sights set on Karrion Kross.

~ KUSHIDA defeated Austin Theory via disqualification.
