On Thursday, August 18, 2022, WWE announced the impending launch of NXT Europe. Subsequently, NXT UK will go on hiatus. In the wake of this news, several NXT UK Superstars have announced their departure from WWE. Also, many wrestlers have been moved to the alumni section of WWE's website. One wrestler who has been moved to the alumni section and also tweeted that the most recent episode of NXT UK featured his final match is Kenny Williams.
Kenny announced that his bout with Tyler Bate, as part of the NXT UK Championship Tournament, was his final match in NXT UK. However, he did say that he feels he saved the best for last.

Because of the aforementioned hiatus and the lack of clarification as to whether or not he is officially ending his relationship with WWE at this point, it is not clear whether or not Kenny Williams will play a role in an NXT Europe in the future, but for now, his WWE NXT UK run has come to an end, one way or another.
