Kevin Nash Comments On WWE Departures, Jokes That Nick Khan Took Half Of WrestleMania 42 Gate

Nash speaks about the departures.

Since late April, there have been a multitude of WWE talent departures from the main roster and NXT.

That was spoken about by two-time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash during his Kliq This podcast. Nash made a joke about WWE announcing record profits and then letting talent go. He went on to joke about WWE President Nick Khan taking half of the WrestleMania 42 gate.

“Not after two weeks prior, when I see what the CEOs — what Nick’s getting paid,” Nash laughed while addressing whether he’s shocked when he sees WWE do mass releases. “I mean, Nick (Khan) took half of the f*cking WrestleMania net… But I’m busting his balls because we sat here and went over the numbers, and the year before was $1.4 billion. The next year, you’re $1.7 billion. So that’s $300 million. So, I’m busting Nick’s balls but, we sat here and went over the numbers…”

The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin) were released from WWE. Nash has a history with Shelley that dates back to their time in TNA in the early 2000s.

Nash said he would not have gotten rid of Shelley and Sabin.

“I would not have gotten rid of the Motor City Machine Guns, that’s for damn sure.”

The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) exited WWE. Their statements can be read here.
