Kevin Owens Applies For Twitter Verification To Contact Shania Twain

Kevin Owens loves Canadian singer Shania Twain apparently.

After losing to Daniel Bryan and Shane McMahon in a match for their Smackdown contracts, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn started to fiddle with their twitters. Owens changed his handle back to the one he used on the independent circuit and El Generico suddenly began tweeting again. When Owens changed his handle, he lost verification as per Twitter policy. The two wrestlers eventually showed up on Raw and things went back to normal except for Owens' verification.

"I got verified again so that I can beg Shania Twain to play my favorite song “When” at her concert this summer in Montreal because I’ll be there. I’m serious," said Owens.

Shania Twain is playing the Belle Centre in Montreal on June 26th which is a Tuesday. The Canadian Twain hit the top 20 charts in the United Kingdom with the song "When" in 1998.
