~ The show kicked off with Daniel Bryan talking about the fact that he is prepared for the Royal Rumble and how he may not have many more chances to headline WrestleMania, so winning now is imperative. RAW's AJ Styles appeared, using the quarterly brand-to-brand invitation, looking for a tune-up match before this Sunday's event. Bryan vs Styles was scheduled for later in the night.
~ After being pinned by Bianca Belair, Bayley gave an interview where she said that this victory will the the EST of WWE's undoing.
~ Baron Corbin defeated Dominik Mysterio for the second straight week. King Corbin attacked Rey after the match but was sent into the ring post.
