Kevin Owens has the superkick and the Stunner in his arsenal. But if he had to choose between a dream match between Shawn Michaels or Steve Austin, he would go with the man who got him into wrestling.
"If I had to pick just one, it would have to be Shawn Michaels," Owens said on the AJ Awesome Show. "When I watched [WrestleMania 11], Shawn Michaels was wrestling and after seeing him, I was 11 years old, I decided I wanted to be a wrestler because of Shawn Michaels. If I could have wrestled him, that would have been a dream come true. I was pretty small and Shawn Michaels was the smallest wrestler in WWE at the time, but he was the best one. I thought if he could do it, maybe I can."
Later in the interview, Owens named Michaels as one of his influences in wrestling. He also named Austin, his friend and mentor Steve Corino, former opponent Super Dragon, Rhino, and best friend/greatest rival Sami Zayn as his influences in wrestling.
