Could Smackdown lose more than bragging rights tonight?
In the video above, you'll see Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens talk about their win tonight against Breezango on the Survivor Series kickoff pre-show. When asked if tonight was to prove a point, Zayn said it was about proving a point every night. He said he used to have problems with Stephanie McMahon on Raw, but now that he's had to deal with Shane, working with Stephanie again would be a breeze.
Stephanie McMahon herself then walked in. Zayn apologized what went down between them on Raw before he switched over to Smackdown. She accepted it, saying she's sorry that her brother doesn't realize their true talent. She then made their exit as Zayn finished the promo.
It was a continuation of a storyline between Zayn, Owens and Shane McMahon. It started at Hell in a Cell when Zayn turned heel, aligning himself with Kevin Owens after he helped him avoid an elbow from the top of the cell by Shane McMahon. They have been exchanging words ever since.
