From Fightful Select:

A couple of familiar faces in the wrestling world are set for a new short film.

Fightful Select has learned that both Killer Kelly and Matthew Rehwoldt (aka Aiden English) will appear in the upcoming Arachnid short film, directed, written and produced by Luke Paron.

Kelly is slated to make her film debut and is in a starring role, while Matthew Rehwoldt will be appearing in a supporting role as a therapist. Lacey Creighton, who played Tammy Sytch in Dark Side of The Ring, is also appearing.

In addition, David Sabda, theatre actor is the male lead. Michael Cao and Gunhouse Props are also involved.

The synopsis reads "After witnessing an entrancing dance performance, the psyche of a young man begins to fall apart through a series of strange encounters." When we reached out about the short film, it was described as ""an insomnia-fueled cautionary tale, and a love letter to David Cronenberg and practical effects."

We're told the opportunity for Kelly came about almost immediately after she expressed her desire last year to star in a horror movie.

Fightful will provide more details on the film when they are known.
