Killer Kross recalls how he had a ‘whole promo’ ready to sell his upcoming match with Zilla Fatu.
WrestleMania week is set to feature an intriguing independent matchup on April 17th at the FSW Mecca XI event, as Killer Kross will take on Zilla Fatu in singles action after Kross asked fans to choose his matchup for the event, with Zilla quickly accepting the bout himself.
While speaking to Knockouts and 3 Counts in a new interview, Killer Kross spoke about his upcoming match with Zilla Fatu, noting that he had a ‘whole promo’ ready to sell the match before Fatu had already responded.
“I asked fans, who do they want to see me wrestle? It was almost unanimously across the board, Zilla Fatu. So I told the company to reach out, see if he’d be willing to do it, and by the time I said that, he had already responded, and I was like, ‘what?’ Had a whole promo, too. I was like, listen, this kid knows what’s up. So we got it done.”
Elsewhere in the same interview, Kross spoke about working alongside Ronda Rousey in WWE. You can read more about that here.
