Killer Kross, Scarlett, Gail Kim, More Backstage At AEW Dynamite To Support Rebel

All Elite Wrestling honored Rebel on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite with a Rebel Heart special.

Rebel, whose real name is Tanea Brooks, has been diagnosed with ALS but continues to fight and returned to AEW TV, appearing on “The Waiting Room” with Britt Baker and helping Brittin herwomen’s trios match.

Mike Johnson at PWInsider reports Killer Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux, Gail Kim, Christy Hemme, AEW announcer Dasha Gonzalez, and more family and friends were all in attendance backstage for the event to support their friend.

Fightful has confirmed those who were in attendance backstage.

Many wrestlers have done the ALS Ice Bucket challenge to support Tanea, who appeared in the challenge video alongside Kross and Scarlett.

In June, Rebel joined I AM ALS as an ambassador.

“ALS may be a terminal diagnosis, but I’m showing up to fight as an Ambassador for I AM ALS. This patient-led movement is stepping into the ring every day to drive real progress and passing laws like the ACT for ALS for research and treatments. I’m proud to join I AM ALS and I’m asking you to step into the ring with us. Please take action,” wrote Rebel on the site.
