Kimber Lee Shares Her Thoughts On WWE Promoting Intergender Wrestling

No stranger to intergender wrestling, Kimber Lee watched James Ellsworth against Asuka from July and came away disappointed with the results.

In an interview with ESPN as part of an article focusing on intergender wrestling, Lee shared her thoughts on how WWE presents men vs. woman matches.

"Yes, it's cool that they're making the woman look like somebody who could be that intimidating. But for someone like me, who works places where you see full-length matches of women really given time and a chance to put in some effort? It's a little disappointing.

"It's one of those things where you're just like, 'Oh, yay.' Then you're like, 'Oh. Kind of not yay.'"

As part of Beyond Wrestling's show promoting all intergender matches during WrestleMania weekend, she wrestled Tracy Williams. That match can be seen in the video above. She's been in the ring against the likes of Keith Lee, Donovan Dijik, and Chris Hero.

Lee spent over two years in NXT under the ring name Abbey Laith. She took part in the first annual Mae Young Classic. She will be making her Stardom debut this weekend as part of the 5* Star Grand Prix.
