King Trevor Murdoch Says Dan Maff Chopped Him So Hard He Asked Him To Never Do It Again

King Trevor Murdoch still remembers Dan Maff’s chops.

In 2020, King Trevor Murdoch and Dan Maff faced each other in the semifinals of the NWA World Television Title Tournament. During the match, Murdoch was chopped by Maff. The impact was brutal, so much so that Murdoch later asked Maff to never do it again.

Murdoch discussed this during a new interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful when asked about the hardest-hitting opponent he shared the ring with.

“I will tell you, Sir Danny Maff. I wrestled him in a Television Title tournament six years ago. I’ve never, and I mean never, been chopped so hard in my chest than I have by that man. To the point that when I got done with the match and I found him in the back, I told him he will never, and I mean never in his lifetime, do that to me again.”
