Kira Says She Had ‘A Lot Of Weight On Her Shoulders’ Before Making Her Debut For STARDOM
Kira discusses her STARDOM debut.
The 25-year-old had her first match for the promotion at their event on February 28, as she teamed with India Sioux and Tabata to take on the trio of Ami Sourei, Lady C, and Ranna Yagami.
Speaking with Fightful for an interview that was recorded before the debut, Kira recalled the nerves that she had before the match.
“I have a lot of weight on my shoulders, a lot of positive energy. If I didn’t have nerves, it would mean that I no longer love wrestling. I love wrestling with all my heart, so nerves will always be there.”
Kira then talked about how her debut with the company came about.
“It wasn’t rushed, but there was no confirmation of the date. My stay in Japan was going to be the same; I wanted to go and see it. The first time I came, I didn’t have much time to explore, and now I wanted to take the time. All the stars aligned, and the show was set for the 28th (of February). It wasn’t confirmed; it didn’t include a date, but things worked out, and here I am in Tokyo, Japan, and tomorrow I have my debut in STARDOM.”
