Tonight on SmackDown, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston returned following Big E’s absolutely physical war with Sheamus in a Falls Count Anywhere match, which would see Big E pick up a major victory in the singles division. He was interviewed by Kayla Braxton and that's when he was greeted with the wonderful surprise of his returning partners, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

Kofi Kingston took some time off after WWE Extreme Rules to nurse some injuries but Xavier Woods has been out for a year with an Achilles tendon injury. In his partners’ time away, Big E has begun to carve out a path in the singles division.
Meanwhile, the returning members of The New Day, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, will get an opportunity at the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship later on tonight.
