Kofi and Joe will meet in the ring once again.
The current WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is scheduled to make an announcement regarding his plans for SummerSlam in two weeks where he will be defending his WWE Championship. Ahead of tonight's SmackDown Live, WWE has announced that Kingston and Samoa Joe will have a rematch from their Extreme Rules World Title match which saw Kofi defeat Samoa Joe after connecting with a "Trouble In Paradise".

Kofi Kingston was pinned by Randy Orton on last week's edition of SmackDown. Samoa Joe competed at RAW Reunion last night and was bested by Roman Reigns in singles action. Tonight's SmackDown Live will also feature a singles match between Charlotte Flair and Ember Moon, Shane McMahon addressing the recent actions of Kevin Owens and WWE is also promoting that Daniel Bryan could be making the announcement that he did not make last week.
