Konnan Thinks Taya's IMPACT Contract Lasts Ten More Months, Says IMPACT, AAA, MLW Are Placeholders

Taya might be sticking around in IMPACT through most of 2020 if Konnan has his facts straight.

Taya's historic reign as IMPACT Knockouts Champion came to an end last week after over a year. With her husband John Morrison heading to WWE, it fueled speculation that she could be on her way out of IMPACT, following his lead. However, that may not be the case.

On his Keepin' it 100 podcast, Konnan said that he thinks her deal lasts quite a bit into 2020.

"I think Taya's contract is up in ten months. This is what I say about everybody. Anybody that's in IMPACT and MLW, and to a certain extent us in AAA -- we're just placeholders until WWE or AEW give them a better deal. Nobody's going to stay there forever. We've seen how many stars have went from IMPACT, when for years they wouldn't touch anybody from IMPACT," said Konnan, before saying "I know her contract's up soon."
