New Japan Pro-Wrestling is in the midst of presenting the New Japan Cup tournament. The tourney final is scheduled to take place on March 21st, and NJPW made an announcement regarding that show.

The new NJPW World Television Champion, Konosuke Takeshita, is going to be in action, and NJPW wrote the following about Takeshita’s forthcoming appearance:

At New Beginning USA in Trenton NJ on February 27, Konosuke Takeshita captured the NJPW World TV Championship after his title match with El Phantasmo went into overtime at the request of the former champ, and the Alpha put away ELP with Raging Fire.

March 21 will see Takeshita bring the title belt to Japan for the first time, as he will be in action at the New Japan Cup final! What does Takeshita have planned for his first Japanese appearance in NJPW since New Year Dash?
