Kota Ibushi Says He Injured His Shoulder Again In Training, Still Plans To Compete At Bloodsport

Kota Ibushi is set to return to the ring at Josh Barnett's Bloodsport on March 30 when he will face "Speedball" Mike Bailey. He is also set to compete against Joey Janela at Joey Janela's Spring Break.

Ibushi hasn't wrestled since October 21, 2021 when he suffered a shoulder injury in the finals of the G1 Climax tournament against Kazuchika Okada. Ibushi injured his shoulder on a missed phoenix splash and the bout was immediately stopped.

Taking to social media, Ibushi says that he reinjured his shoulder while training, but still plans to compete.

As of now, no official announcement has been made regarding Ibushi's status.
