Kota Ibushi Shows Current Mobility, ‘I Will Definitely Be Back’

Kota Ibushi gives the latest update on how he’s feeling following a broken femur.

Ibushi suffered an injury on AEW Collision (taped on October 8), falling off the shoulders of Josh Alexander from the turnbuckle and to the outside. Ibushi is shown doing squats and running up and down steps.

On Tuesday, Kota gave a new update, showing off his current mobility and writing, “Hello. It’s been about two months since my second surgery. I will definitely be back, so please wait for me. Sending these feelings to Kenny, Bucks, and Tony Khan!! To my dear friends.”

In February, Ibushi said he underwent another surgery because a major screw came loose.

In January, Ibushi said he was hoping to return in 2026 despite being told he would be sidelined for two years at the time of his injury.

Fightful wishes Kota Ibushi the best as he recovers.
