Kota Ibushi Stretchered Out Of AEW Collision Tapings

Kota Ibushi suffered an apparent injury at the AEW Collision tapings on October 8th.

During his match with Josh Alexander, Ibushi fell off the turnbuckle and to the outside with his leg reportedly buckling. He was checked on by medical officials.

After some time had passed, Ibushi was stretched away from the ringside area.

The lights went down in Daily’s Place after Ibushi was attended to, and Tony Khan came out to thank the fans for their patience and being respectful. He said injuries happen and led an Ibushi chant.

Ibushi first joined AEW in 2023. He battled injuries throughout 2024 and early 2025 before returning to the promotion in June 2025. He announced in August that he had signed a two-year deal with the promotion.

Fightful will provide an update on Ibushi when more is known.
