Kris Statlander Confirms Extent Of Knee Injury, Set To Undergo Surgery

Kris Statlander gives more details on her injury.

Statlander posted a new video on Instagram of her working out despite a knee injury and in the audio, she confirmed she has a "completely torn ACL and lateral meniscus." She noted that she doesn't have a surgery date yet, but will soon.

She continues to work out in an effort to maintain as much strength as possible and lessen post op atrophy.

Statlander last wrestled against Sierra on the August 5 AEW Dark tapings, which is when the injury occurred. She was ranked second in the official AEW rankings on August 3. After the injury was announced, Statlander vowed to return stronger.

Statlander suffered an ACL injury in June 2020 and was out of action until April 2021.

It is unknown how long she will be out of action. Fightful wishes Statlander all the best in her recovery.
