Kurt Angle Comments On His WWE Championship Match With Chris Benoit, And Sami Zayn Deserving A Push

Kurt Angle's weekly Q&A session.

WWE Hall Of Famer and the current GM of Monday Night RAW Kurt Angle hosted his weekly Q&A session over Facebook yesterday. Angle answered a number of questions that were presented to him and one of those questions had to do with Kurt having the power to recreate one of the matches that he's had in his career and Kurt noted that if he had that choice it would be his WWE Championship match with Chris Benoit that took place at the 2003 Royal Rumble PPV.

"Angle vs Benoit Royal Rumble 2003 for the WWE Championship. It will never get the respect it deserves due to Chris’ actions that I won’t discuss. But the match was incredible."

Kurt was then asked if he believes Sami Zayn will be spotlighted upon his return. Zayn is currently out of action rehabbing after undergoing double shoulder surgery and Angle feels that Sami is much deserving of a push.

"Sami deserves a great run, he’s so talented. I like the kid very much." Angle noted.

The former 6-time WWE World Champion also shared a few of the matches he wants to have before he hangs it up. Angle listed Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, Finn Balor and others as WWE stars who he'd like to mix it up with.

"My dream matches. Rollins, Ambrose, Reigns, Styles, Cesaro, Shaemus, Balor, Roode, Joe, Braun, and a few others. I wouldn't get through all of them, but four or five would make me happy...lol." Angle shared.
