Kurt Angle Posts New Video Of Himself Putting On His Gear

Kurt Angle appears to be re-lacing his boots in a new video posted on Twitter.

Kurt Angle has not appeared inside of a wrestling ring since losing to Baron Corbin in one of the featured matches at WrestleMania 35 in 2019.

Jinder Mahal Says He Found Out About WWE Raw Day 1 Segment With The Rock A Day Or Two In Advance

That match was slated to be Kurt's retirement match as Kurt Angle was going to shift toward becoming a WWE producer before he was suddenly released on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

In the time since, Kurt Angle began a new journey as a podcast host, but the former WWE Champion and IMPACT Wrestling Hall of Famer has posted a new video on Twitter that shows him putting on his gear with the ending text “to be continued.”

Paul Wight, formerly known as The Big Show in WWE, has stated that this Sunday at AEW Revolution, he will announce a major Hall of Fame-level signing to the promotion. Tony Khan has also stated that this is a major signing and this person has signed on for “great matches.”

During a 2020 appearance on the Joe TKO show, Kurt Angle stated that he wasn't sure if he would return to the ring because of how much pain he is in and said that his quality of life sucks.

"I don't know. I mean, I'm hurting pretty badly," Kurt revealed. "My knees, my back, my neck. Sometimes I think about, you know, would I go back? My quality of life right now sucks. So, I do have a lot of suffering. I had a painkiller addiction that I overcame about six years ago and staying clean and struggling the way I have been, it's very difficult."

Fightful will continue to monitor the story and report any and all updates.

Kurt Angle shared another video on March 7, telling fans to "tune in."

It turns out all the speculation was for nothing as this was a clever advertisement for his new podcast, The Kurt Angle Show.

AEW's mystery signing will continue to be just that, a mystery.

Fightful will have live coverage of Revolution beginning at 4 PM PST on March 7, 2021.
