Don Callis: Kyle Fletcher Is A Michael Jordan Level Athlete Mixed With Brad Pitt In His Prime
Don Callis sees a bright future for his group in Hollywood.
Wrestling has always been in a relationship with movies and television, with many of today’s top stars following the same path that names like The Rock and Dave Bautista took.
Speaking with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a new interview, Callis touted many of his group’s names and their futures in Hollywood.
“Imagine Brad Pitt in all his glory and in his prime but he was also a Michael Jordan level athlete, you’re talking about Kyle Fletcher. Very simple. I think Okada has a great future as a leading man of some kind, he’s just got that sparkle in his eye that people get very excited about. I think guys like Wardlow, who have been phenomenal athletes and great professional wrestlers, I think Wardlow is going to show a lot of people that the Don Callis Family tentacles reach outside of All Elite Wrestling and right into Hollywood, right into New York City, right into the major financial centers. I’m currently sitting on three different offers for Andrade to do things. I think that’s very exciting because he’s bringing a different demographic to the building. I don’t just think about what I’m doing on Dynamite, I think about, can I get enough guys where I can conduct a work stoppage and leverage Tony Khan to get something I want? Could I take over Collision just with my guys? Don Callis Championship Wrestling presents Collision, I could do that. The things gonna keep growing but it’s also gonna grow in depth and in width in the sense that non traditional wrestling entities are going to get our attention and it’s all about multiple revenue streams.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Callis talked about his group’s injured reserve list and bragged about it being better than other healthy factions. Check out his full comments by clicking here.
