Kyle O'Reilly outsmarts Von Wagner at NXT WarGames.
NXT was once dominated by the Undisputed ERA. Undisputed ERA featured Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O'Reilly. Just before the start of NXT 2.0, Adam Cole and Bobby Fish departed WWE, Bobby was released and Adam’s contract expired. Rodrick would go on to be a huge part of Diamond Mine and Kyle O'Reilly was left on his own.
At the start of NXT 2.0, Kyle O'Reilly befriended Von Wagner and at NXT WarGames 2021, they competed for the NXT Tag Team Championship. When it did not go their way and Kyle ended up eating the pin in the tag team title match, Don Wagner was ready to turn on Kyle, but Kyle saw it coming and wound up dropping Wagner before flashing the hand signal of the Undisputed ERA and saying to Von Wagner that this [Undisputed ERA] was a brotherhood before delivering an old-fashioned D-Generation X crotch chop.

Adam Cole and Bobby Fish are currently members of the AEW roster and Fightful recently reported that WWE offered Kyle a multi-year deal with Kyle having yet to sign the agreement as of the day of WarGames. Learn more here.
