Lana To Ronda Rousey: Pro Wrestling Is A Contact Sport Where Real Things Happen

While Speaking with Steve-O on his show, Wild Ride, Ronda Rousey opened up about her decision to step away from WWE full-time.

“I love WWE. I had such a great time. I love all the girls in the locker room. Hell yeah, running out there and having fake fights for fun is just the best thing. I love choreography. I love acting. I love theater and that's one of the last forms of live theater and it was so much fun,” Rousey admitted. “But, I was doing it only part-time and I was away from home 200 days a year. When I did get home, I was so sleep-deprived because you just don’t have time to lay down.”

Lana has come forward on social media to say that she takes exception to Rousey's comments. Even though Rousey was very complimentary toward all of the women in the locker room and the act of pro wrestling itself, Lana was not a fan of Ronda Rousey calling pro wrestling “fake fighting.”

In her tweet, Lana would cite Superstars such as Tyson Kidd, Paige, and even the recently returned Edge as major examples of people having to give up their dreams due to injuries suffered in the ring. “The Ravishing Russian” would say that wrestling is a contact sport and imply that it deserves more respect than offered by Ronda Rousey when speaking to the former Jackass star.

Ronda also said that she would be interested in returning to WWE for short stints at a time. Learn more at this link.
