Lana gets left in the cold.
On last night's episode of SmackDown it was announced that Naomi and Carmella would be the final team to enter the Elimination Chamber and compete for the vacant Women's Tag Team Titles. If the pairing felt a bit random, it's likely due to the fact that Naomi and Carmella have rarely teamed together and have been on opposite sides of the ring for most of their careers. Naomi had been paired with Asuka through the end of 2018 and had been teaming with Lana during live events in January.
Naomi dropping Lana for Carmella did not sit well with her former dance partner.
Lana, in storyline, does have an injured ankle, which could explain Naomi's choice. But Lana isn't buying it.
Mandy Rose, who has been trying to break up Naomi's marriage on-screen, gave her thoughts.
While Lana won't have a chance at winning the Women's Tag Team Titles, she did have success on SmackDown, guiding Rusev and Shinsuke Nakamura to victory over the Good Brothers.
