Lash Legend Says Nia Jax Asked To Team With Her
Nia Jax and Lash Legend became aligned in November 2025 on WWE SmackDown after they had a brief feud in NXT.
They quickly found success on the main roster, winning the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles in February.
Speaking to Chad Ochocinco and Shannon Sharpe on Night Cap, they were asked how their partnership came together.
Nia noted that when you reach a certain status, you’re able to have more say in who you might team with, and she pitched that her and Lash would be a great tag team.
Lash interrupted to say, “Nia is being humble. She’s on that vet status where she actually asked for me, and I’m so grateful for it. She asked to come down and work with me at NXT. I think they saw how well we worked together and they went for it.”
The Irresistible Forces will defend their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles against Alexa Bliss & Charlotte Flair, Bayley & Lyra Valkyria, & The Bella Twins (Nikki Bella & Brie Bella) at WrestleMania 42.
