Matt Hardy had a memorable in-ring debut for AEW, but the end result did not go in his favor.
Hardy teamed with Kenny Omega in the main event on Wednesday's Dynamite, taking on Le Sex Gods (Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara) in a street fight. The battle spilled into the concourse area at Daily's Place where Hardy was stuffed into an ice cooler, only to emerge as Damascus. Hardy would then take ownership of a golf cart, mowing down Jericho and Guevara.
Unfortunately for Hardy & Omega, Jericho & Guevara had numbers as Jake Hager, Santana & Ortiz were present to help their running mates in the Inner Circle come away with the victory. Both Jericho & Guevara pinned Omega following the Judas Effect.
