Leaked Script Reveals Rules For Writing WWE Segments

It seems WWE writers must consider a lot when putting together segments.

On Monday night, Reddit user wickedsfinx posted what was claimed to be a leaked script from Raw. One of the leaked pages had the dialogue and blocking for the B-Team Memorial Day Tag Team BBQ and the other page provided a guideline for the writers to follow when coordinating a segment.

That page can be seen in the tweet below.

The guideline has suggestions which seem obvious like "does the segment make sense?" and "make it entertaining." It also reveals that wrestlers should not be adlibbing and the segment should be well timed since there should be a rehearsal in the arena before the show.  It should be noted some of the lines by Titus O'Neil during the BBQ segment did not appear on the script.

Other parts of the guideline instructs the writers to inform Kevin Dunn, Vince McMahon, or Billy Kidman if a part of the segment does not "work" or if the segment might run long. It also said that on the headsets, speaking clearly is a priority.

At FightfulSelect.com, Sean Ross Sapp posts the segment run-downs for Raw and Smackdown which are slightly different from these script pages which had the dialogue written out.
