Linda McMahon wants nothing to do with WWE and Saudi Arabia.
TMZ tried to get comments from Linda about WWE's decision to remain in Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel, but she was in no mood to defend her husband's company.
"If you wanna talk WWE, you're talking to the wrong McMahon. I don't run it and I'm not responsible for it. Gotta talk to Vince," said Linda.
WWE and Linda McMahon -- who serves in Donald Trump's cabinet as the Administrator of the Small Business Administration -- were facing pressure to cancel Crown Jewel in the aftermath of the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. The Saudi government was first linked to, and then admitted to, killing Khashoggi. Despite the pressure from US Senators; WWE decided to keep their Nov. 2 date in Saudi Arabia and Crown Jewel will move forward as scheduled.
The move was not only met with backlash from Senators, but fans, media, and wrestlers were upset at the decision as well. Barstool Sports' Robbie Fox reported Daniel Bryan and John Cena refused to go to Saudi Arabia. Both were written off Crown Jewel this past week on WWE television.
Crown Jewel airs this Friday on the WWE Network beginning at 12 p.m. ET. Fightful will provide live coverage of the event.
