WWE Hall Of Famers and former multi-time WWE Women's Champions Trish Stratus and Lita join forces tonight at WWE 'Evolution' to take on the tandem of Mickie James and Alicia Fox. Alexa Bliss was originally slated to be in this match but due to an injury that she suffered at a live event, Bliss was pulled from the show but will be accompanying Mickie and Alicia to the ring tonight.
Prior to 'Evolution', Lita spoke with 'The Indian Express' and discussed what is to come in her and Trish's return to the ring, and Lita also shared some of her favorite stars on today's roster.
“My favorite is Charlotte. Becky, Sasha and Charlotte had a wonderful transition from NXT to the main roster. But it is Charlotte who has come into her own from her time in NXT to being the multi-time champion and really owning the ring." Lita explained. "So my favorite overall performer, not only physically but also embodying her character, is Charlotte.”
Since Lita and Trish's return to WWE TV, fans have wondered if they will get to see one more match between the two and Lita did not shy away from that conversation during this interview. She stated that although she loves to team up with Trish, it would be just as fun renewing their rivalry.
“We always talk about teaming up together but that conversation usually peels off." She continued, "It will be fun to face each other one last time. But as much as I would love to team up with her it would be equally fun one last match.”
