Logan Paul vs. Rey Mysterio Set For WWE United States Title Bout At WWE Crown Jewel

Logan Paul aims for his first taste of championship gold in WWE at WWE Crown Jewel.

After defeating Dillon Danis in a boxing match at MF x DAZN X Series 10, Logan Paul made it clear that he was going to challenge Rey Mysterio for the WWE United States Championship. Logan did just that on the October 20, 2023 episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown.

Logan hit the ring and stated that he had already defeated Mysterio, referencing his tag team victory alongside The Miz against Dominik and Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 38. He also said that Ray has respect and legacy, two things he doesn't need. However, he does need the WWE United States Championship.

Paul said that he had already beaten one deadbeat dad in Dillon Danis and at WWE Crown Jewel on November 4, he was going to be another deadbeat dad in Rey Mysterio. Rey Mysterio came down to answer the challenge saying that Paul reminds him a lot of his son, Dominik.

However, while Mysterio says he had trouble wrestling his son, he's not going to have any trouble humbling Logan Paul so he accepts his challenge. Both men actually shook hands before parting ways.
