Pentagon Jr will be facing an old rival next week.
After Pentagon defended his championship on the season 4 premiere in a 20 wrestler Aztec Warfare match, the new authority figure Antonio Cueto said Pentagon would be defending the Lucha Underground Championship again next week against The Monster Matanza Cueto.
Pentagon and Matanza have met twice before in singles matches when Matanza was the Lucha Underground Champion including a match during the season two finale. Pentagon was unable to defeat him then and Matanza lost the Championship in a Aztec Warfare match during season three.
Pentagon has been Lucha Underground champion since defeating Prince Puma by cashing in his Gift of the Gods championship and forcing a Career versus Career. Matanza's last match on Lucha Underground was a cage match against Dragon Azteca Jr on the same episode during which Pentagon beat Prince Puma.
Fightful Wrestling had coverage and results for the season four premiere of Lucha Underground and the same will be done next week for episode two.
Lucha Underground will be airing on Wednesdays on the El Rey Network.
