The NXT Takeover: Toronto main event has been confirmed.
WWE NXT General Manager William Regal appeared on WWE's social media Thursday and announced that NXT Takeover: Toronto will be headlined by Shinsuke Nakamura defending the NXT Championship against Samoa Joe.
Nakamura debuted with WWE NXT this year at NXT Takeover: Dallas, and went undefeated all the way to NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II, where he defeated Samoa Joe for the NXT Championship.
Samoa Joe held the title for 122 days, one of the shortest reigns in NXT history. However, he was the first man to ever capture the NXT, TNA and ROH titles.
NXT Takeover: Toronto takes place on November 12 from the Air Canada Centre.
