Major Change To IMPACT World Title Match, Tag Team Title Match Announced For Slammiversary

There’s been a major change to the main event of the upcoming Slammiversary show.

It was announced on IMPACT tonight that the five-way match for the IMPACT World Championship has been changed into a four-way match for the now-vacant title. The four participants in the match are Ace Austin, Trey, Eddie Edwards and a mystery opponent.

Originally, Tessa Blanchard, the previous champion, and Michael Elgin were in the match but the change reflects Blanchard’s departure from the company and Elgin being suspended indefinitely. The winner of the match will be the new IMPACT World Champion.

In addition, it was announced that IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The North will defend their titles against Sami Callihan and Ken Shamrock.

* Gauntlet Match To Determine No. 1 Contender For IMPACT Knockouts Championship: Rosemary vs. Nevaeh vs. Susie vs. Kiera Hogan vs. Taya Valkyrie vs. Tasha Steelz vs. Alisha Edwards vs. Kylie Rae vs. Kimber Lee vs. Havok
