Marcus Mathers Says WWE ID Program Has Helped Him Focus On Realism, Wants To Stay Away From 'Silly Stuff'

Marcus Mathers wants to keep things realistic.

The profile of 'The Young Prodigy' has continued to rise in recent months, as he's faced off against big names like Mike Santana, Miyu Yamashita, Timothy Thatcher, and other WWE ID names like Sean Legacy and Sam Holloway.

As we inch closer to the one year anniversary of WWE ID, Marcus Mathers says that the program has helped him focus on realism in his matches.

“The biggest thing, the realism. Making this stuff more real. At the end of the day, these are fights. These are matches, you know? We do got to stay away from the silly stuff.” Mathers told Justin of The Wrestling Classic during a new interview.

Mathers is expected to make his debut for WWE Evolve in the near future, as he's been featured in recent promotional material for the show.
