Marie Malenko In Discussions To Sign With Pro Wrestling Promotion, Dean Malenko Declines To Reveal The Promotion

An update on Marie Malenko.

It was in early February that Marie Malenko made her in-ring debut for Pro Wrestling NOAH. It was soon revealed that she is the daughter of Dean Malenko.

As Dean was doing a virtual signing for Signed By Superstars, it was mentioned that Marie signed with a pro wrestling promotion. An individual who accompanied Dean to the signing clarified that Marie has not ‘technically signed’ but things are in the works. Dean then declined to reveal where Marie might be headed.

Dean’s representative: “Coming soon, his daughter. Hopefully… Haven’t technically signed yet, but it’s in the works.”

Dean: “Hopefully.” He was then asked if he wanted to reveal where Marie is signing and replied, “No.”

Marie Malenko would go on to debut for Dream Star Fighting Marigold, and later in the month of February, she partook in a WWE tryout.

Elsewhere during the signing, Dean joked about Marie ‘stealing’ his ring gear designs and called her a creep.

“I have many (ring gear) designs. Actually, my daughter’s stealing my design now. Yeah, little creep.”

As more information becomes available regarding the future of Marie Malenko, we’ll update you here on Fightful.
