Mark Henry Calls On Martha Hart To Allow WWE To Induct Owen Hart Into Their Hall Of Fame

"The World's Strongest Man" pleads to Martha Hart.

Last night at the WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony, while former World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry was delivering his speech, he stopped for moment and took the spotlight off of himself and pleaded for the widow of Owen Hart, Martha, to allow the sports-entertainment company to induct Owen Hart into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

Tanga Loa Officially Going By 'Tonga Loa' In WWE

Following Owen's tragic death at the 1999 'Over The Edge' PPV Martha Hart sued the then WWF. She included Owen's children and parents in the lawsuit as well which ultimately culminated in a $18 million settlement towards the later end of the year 2000. In 2010 Martha Hart sued the WWE again for using the former two-time WWF Intercontinental Champion's name in a number of DVD's without reportedly paying royalties to Owen's children. Drifting back to Mark Henry's statement, it is to be believed that she denied the idea of WWE inducting Owen into their Hall Of Fame. To add, Owen Hart will be inducted into the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame this summer.
