Mark Henry: “I Do Not Work For WWE… I Have A Nostalgia Deal”

Mark Henry addresses his status with the WWE.

There’s an interview that ITRWrestling pushed out with WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry. As the chat moved along, Henry clarified his status with the sports entertainment company.

Henry said he does not work for WWE. He added that he has a Nostalgia deal, which allows the company to use his name, image, and likeness for merchandise, video games, and things of that ilk.

“I’m not on a Legends deal. I do not have a Legends deal; I don’t know why people assume. I do not work for WWE. I do WWE Radio through SiriusXM. That’s pretty much the only connection. I have a Nostalgia deal, where I allow them to use my name to make action figures and do video games and that kind of stuff. But I don’t work for them.”

Henry, alongside the WWE Radio/Busted Open crew, was shown on-screen at SummerSlam 2026. To read what WWE President Nick Khan told the Busted Open team, click here.
