Earlier this year, Fatu and Reigns would face off in a pair of matches with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on the line. Reigns would end up winning on these occasions, but for a WWE Hall of Famer, it is only a matter of time till Fatu usurps Roman.
In a recent interview with Casino.org, Mark Henry spoke on the possibility of Jacob Fatu replacing Roman Reigns as the companies top star.
“On physicality and toughness, Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu are equal, but the one thing that you can’t teach is experience. Jacob is going through the growing pains… Once he has that experience then he could definitely replace Roman. I’m gonna make sure that I have a ticket for that one. I think Roman Reigns is safely a top 5 guy on the Mount Rushmore of wrestling…I think Roman is in the driver’s seat as the main star. He’s championship material.”
Prior to SummerSlam, Henry would predict Oba Femi and Brock Lesnar’s match would be Oba’s ‘coming out party’ and that Lesnar would retire after the bout. You can read more about that here.
