Mark Henry Says He'd Come Out Of Retirement For Match With WALTER.

Mark Henry says he's willing to induct WALTER into "The Hall of Pain" but believes WALTER has the makings of a WWE World Champion.

WALTER has a busy week this week with both NXT UK: Prelude and NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver but a WWE Hall of Famer has thrown down the gauntlet and made it known that he would like to step in the ring with WALTER before hanging up his boots for good.

Mark Henry, who was in WWE for well over a decade before capturing his first WWE World Championship and becoming a headlining talent, recently stated on BT Sport’s “Run-In” show. that he believes WALTER could be a World Champion within the next couple of years and that he would like the opportunity to test his own skills against that of WALTER in order to get WALTER ready.

“I feel like WALTER is the cream of the crop. I think WALTER should be a World Champion in the next two to three years. If he stays healthy, and he wants to get better, you will see WALTER as a World Champion.”

Henry continued, “I want to have one more match before I completely say I will never wrestle again and WALTER is one of those guys that may need to be put in the Hall of Pain to be tempered by the fire that could make him a champion.

“I'm saying that I think that would be a good fantasy warfare match. If it happens, it would be because WALTER called me out because he's an active, current talent, it's not up to me... I still have my wrestling boots.”

Mark Henry recently stated that he wants to have a match within this calendar year. To learn more about that, you can click here.
