On June 21, Sterling provided an official injury update to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, saying, "After the heinous attacks of Johnny Silver, Marina Shafir, Hook, Wardlow and many others over the past 6 months, I’ve been informed I have to miss my yacht club’s annual regatta because of my neck pain. I had already paid for the rental! I still have to proceed cautiously and it’ll be at least another week or two before I can look down on @Pres10Vance and others with disdain."
